Got a case of the shanks? At one time or another, virtually every golfer has shanked a golf ball. In tournament play, I have seen shots shanked by Jim Furyk, Steve Stricker and Ian Poulter, just to name a few right off the top of my head.
A shank seemingly comes out of nowhere, but for the average golfer, when it rears its ugly head, it can be debilitating.
