One of the issues that many golfers struggle with in their golf swings is their balance and posture.

The average male golfer hits their tee shots about 225 yards.  That’s the equivalent of barely hitting a baseball into the outfield.

You simply can’t shoot low scores with such a lack of power, unless you make every putt you line up.

One reason golfers fail to maintain their balance and posture in the golf swing is a lack of athleticism resulting from a lack of use of their hamstrings and glutes.

With this in mind I thought I’d share a couple exercises you can perform at home that I performed regularly when I was studying kung fu.  I’ve seen Phil Mickelson doing one of these excercises… Phil also studies tae kwon do and kung fu.

These two exercises will help you improve your balance, and help you to maintain your spine angle in the golf swing.

Give them a try!
